This creation is inspired by the origin story of Perseus. According to the myth, Perseus’ mother, princess Danae was locked up by her father, to preserve her virginity. Zeus however, driven by his lust for the young girl, took the form of golden rain, and managed to enter her prison and lay with her. This Golden Rain thus is a symbol of fertility and eroticism.
